Nope, that’s not one of those stories where I learned to knit from grandma and the rest is history. I’ve spent years doodling and sketching strange, mystical creatures — silhouettes that once felt a little too weird for a canvas, but far too alive to stay in my sketchbooks. They wanted to move, to breathe, to be seen out in the world, not just hang quietly on a page.
One day it hit me: why keep them on paper when people could wear them? That’s how Baubas was born.
I joined forces with a small knitting factory to start turning my sketches into real sweaters. Every pattern, shape, and little creature from my notebooks was carefully translated into wool.
I always knew these sweaters wouldn’t be mass-produced. Each one is made in small batches with the finest Italian lambswool. Every piece carries care, imagination, and a bit of mischief — just like the creatures themselves.
Baubas sweaters are for those who embrace their individuality and want to feel one of a kind.
Cheers,
